Luke “Skippy” Harbur Speaks: 3 programs making life meaningful
“Howdy! Skippy here. Facing a liver transplant, a collapsed lung, emergency open heart surgery, and complete heart block before age 30 forces hard decisions for how to spend time you think you might have left. As an educator, performer, and producer, my work explores how time and connection are precious through experiences under LSH Productions.
We all have stories of resilience . . . getting a fifth chance at life is mine.
LSH Productions’ success means nothing without teaching others about lessons learned in managing mental health, building authentic confidence, and following through on your dreams to watch them come true. No matter your age you can always do four things: pause, play, be kind, and make a difference. Pause when you need to breathe; play when you need to energize; be kind when you feel you won’t; and make a difference with the distinct character you bring the world.”
